           ONE ON ONE PERSONAL TRAINING

 

Sessions are either 30 or 60 long with exclusive access to the gym. You will work with me on a variety of training techniques that I prescribe and implement   to meet your specific needs and achieve your goals. These training methods may include:

 

  • Strength/ resistance training (mass & sculpting)

  • Cardiovascular training (high and low intensity)

  • Flexibility and stretching

  • Core stability

 

You will also be offered a weekly program which includes exercises and training options that can be done in addition to your scheduled training sessions. This will ultimately increase your chance of success.

Similarly you will be offered nutritional advice which plays a vital part in reaching your health and fitness goals.

With all of the information out there today about what's the best diet, what to eat, what not to eat etc it can be very overwhelming. What is true is that to get the most out of your training nutritious eating habits are essential.

Alongside your training you have the added option of nutrition coaching which will go hand in hand with achieving fantastic results. A time is set aside specifically dedicated in teaching you to plan and follow a path that will lead you to your results. Being certified by Precision Nutrition, one of the most respected organisations in my field I can use my knowledge and skills so we can work together to holistically reach your physical, mental and behavioral goals for lifelong happiness and success.

           PARTNER TRAINING

You have the option to train with a friend/family member at no extra cost!!!! Sessions are still 30 or 60 min long and will run the same as a one on one session however you will have a friend along for the ride. This doesn't mean you can slack off for half the session, there are many ways that the sessions will be structured to make sure everyone is getting the most out of their workout.

           METAFIT

 

Metafit is based on the principals of Tabata Training and High Intensity Training (HIIT). Metafit classes are only 30 mins in duration and consist of short intense bouts of exercises followed but short rest periods. There are variations in work/rest times between sets and tracks however the principal of maximal output in an interval pattern applies. Studies have shown this type of training will increase your metabolism, build lean muscle, improve your fitness and burn fat (during and post workout). Exercises are all body weight so no equipment is necessary and large muscle groups are used for maximum effect. The tracks are released monthly to qualified coachs so you never get bored.  Book today for a one on one metafit session or get a group/team together and make an appoinment .

           BOOTCAMP

 

Held outdoors this session is a group session catering for large numbers. It is a dynamic workout consisting of various training methods such as boxing, running, lifting, pulling, throwing etc. A fun way to workout with friends in a large open space.            FATBURN EXTREME

 

Based on the same principal as Metafit, FBX is a short but intense 20-30 min workout using bodyweight in pre choreographed exercises. This is a HIIT session that works your whole body for up to 48 hours after. The main difference between FBX and Metafit is there is no countdown to the rest phase so everyone takes a quick rest in their own time- that means you work to 'your max' and rest in 'your time'. Perfect for all fitness levels, age and experience.

This is the only class running in the area so get in quick!!!!!

           METAPWR

Metapwr is a 30-minute, metabolic resistance workout, combining bodyweight and weighted compound exercises with little rest to maximize calorie burn and increase the metabolic rate during and after the workout. As with metafit classes there are consistently new releases which contain varied circuit set ups, exercises, set and rep ranges however the principals of HITT still remain the sole focus. Some reasons that this type of training is so beneficial include: 

1) MetaPWR uses large muscle groups which means 'more bang for your buck'- that is you work a few muscles simultaneously

2) MetaPWR is high intensity anaerobic exercise that makes you breathless. From a 1 to 10 scale, MetaPWR is around 6 to 8 in terms of metabolic intensity (Metafit 8 to 10).

3) MetaPWR should help create a burning sensation in your muscles as you are working out. 

4) MetaPWR burns calories

The calorie burn during a 30-minute MetaPWR workout is easily around 500 calories, but it also increases metabolic rate from anywhere between 10% to 25% for up to 24 hours, with some studies showing an increase in metabolic rate for up to even 72 hours with this type of training. This equates to hundreds of extra calories, which over the course of a few workouts can become significant
